The Allies were a military alliance mainly composing of the Soviet Union, United States of America and Great Britain, often referred to as the Big Three. China and France also played major roles as Allies. Other minor Allies were Poland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Yugoslavia, South Africa, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg, Belgium, Mongolia, Greece, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Some puppet countries were the Philippines and Mongolia
