The Light Tank Mk. II had 3 variants
- Light Tank Mk. II was the original, based on the Light Tank Mk. I with a new larger rectangular turret.
- Light Tank Mk. II A: was a modified Light Tank Mk. II with air louvers on the sides of the turret for hot climates and an external fuel tank was fitted onto the chassis of the Light Tank Mk. II to carry extra fuel
