The SdKfz 251/9 Stummel (German: Stump) was a field support variant of the SdKfz 251 half-track already in use by Germany during World War II.


The SdKfz 251/9 generally the same hull as the standard SdKfz 251 Ausf. C, thus having the same Maybach HL 42 TUKRM engine that was capable of propelling the vehicle at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The Sdkfz 251/9 was armed with the same 75 mm weapon as the StuG III variants up to the Ausf. F and used by panzer grenadiers in all types of ground combat situations.[1]
