The Western Front, almost the same as it had been during WWI, was an area of Europe where the forces of Axis and the Allies fought. This area reaches from the English Channel to the western part of Germany as the eastern part of Germany was located in the Eastern Front. Other countries in this area included Denmark, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The heaviest part of the fighting in the Western Front was in Russia.
