Western Front

The western front, almost the same as it had been during WWI, was an area of Europe where the forces of Axis and the Allies fought. This area reaches from the English Channel to the western part of Germany as the Eastern part of Germany was located in the Eastern Front. The first phase of the front saw the capitulation of Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. The second phase start from the Invasion Of Normandy in 1944 until the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945.
